Jane coaches in creative writing for positive mental health. On Saturday 14th November Jane will be running a free workshop Let’s be Writers! Let’s Make a Book – Workshop for 6-9 year olds at Woodhouse Gardens Pavilion from 2:00-3.30pm.
Jane will help you create your own book’ – to take home, with front cover, back cover blurb, etc – – and the content will be your own individual choice of subject. (One parent/guardian per child or family to stay and of course, create a book of their own too!)
You don’t need to bring anything except your imagination!
About the author
I am a community writer, and tutor, with 46 years of experience enabling and encouraging creative writing in a wide range of community settings, and across different genres. I am the founder of the Hengistbury Head writers group, and a member of the Society of Women Writers and Journalists.
My workshops explore themes around book(s) participation; responding to needs; writers supporting each other; the fascination with different purposes for writing. ‘Writing for the Community’ and using our writing skills to serve, share, understand & celebrate.
